Wiley Gets New Garden Boxes

The Wiley PTA Sustainability Committee is excited to announce that Wiley Elementary School has received six raised bed gardens from Interfaith Food Shuttle!

The program, funded by the Wiley PTA, gives each grade level its own garden that they can choose how to use, providing valuable learning opportunities for students.

Over Spring Break, Interfaith Food Shuttle installed the raised bed gardens, which can be found in front of the K classrooms.

With the addition of these gardens, students will have the opportunity to learn about gardening, pollination, composting, and sustainable living.

This initiative is part of the Wiley PTA's ongoing commitment to sustainability and providing hands-on learning opportunities for students.

The PTA is proud to have organized and funded this program and looks forward to seeing the gardens grow and thrive in the coming months and years.
