Wiley Takes Action

Thank you so much to Wiley Pre-K and Kindergarten mom, Sadie Walters from Pitstop for the Birds for coming out to speak to our 2nd-3rd grade Wiley Takes Action elective students.

Sadie is the founder of Pitstop for the birds, a scalable solution that restores migratory habitats & disrupts traditional commercial land development practices. Our Wiley Takes Action kiddos are using the UN SDGs to investigate global challenges & research ways to take action to overcome them. Mrs. Walters was able to share with students how she’s working on UN Goal #15 - protect, restore, and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems.
