How does my child/family pay for books?

Books can be purchased with cash, debit, credit card, check (made payable to Wiley PTA) or eWallet. You can send the appropriate amount of money in with your student, or shop with them during before school or afterschool sales days.

I’d like my child to participate in the book fair, but I’m concerned about the cost. Is any assistance available?

Yes! Books are an important part in helping children build strong literacy skills. At Wiley, we are proud of our Book Fairy program that ensures that every student gets a new book from the book fair in the Fall and Spring. Through the Book Fairy, we provide approximately 100 books each book fair. If you would like your child to participate in the Book Fairy program, please inform their home room teacher.

Is tax added to the cost of the book, or is it the price listed?

We use the US price listed on the book + tax, and round up to the nearest whole dollar.

What if a book I want runs out of stock at the Book Fair?

At the Book Fair, it is inevitable that some books become unpredictably more popular than others. For books that are out-of-stock at the fair, we encourage you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair page to purchase the book(s) online and ship to your home. Orders over $25 ship free.

How can I donate books to fulfill teachers’ wish lists?

When you visit the Book Fair, teachers will have their own wish lists available for caregivers to review. You can add a teacher’s wish list book to your total purchase, and we drop the book directly into the teacher’s wish list bag. If the book is unavailable, we will let them know the book was purchased and will be delivered at a later date, when other out of stock books are ordered and delivered.
