Cultural Arts: Baba Got BARS

Wiley students took an exciting journey of rhythm, rhyme, and cultural exploration with the one and only Baba Bomani! That's right – Wiley Cultural Arts workshop favorite, Baba Got BARS, is back.

Wiley 3rd, 4th and 5th graders took a fun trip through the creative writing process, rapping along to original music released by Bomani. Students also learned about Frederick Douglass’ life through Bomani’s original song, “Selfie King.” It was an amazing day of learning through rhyming and dancing.
